Long Island Farm Brewery is a new brewery located in an old renovated potato barn on the east end of Long Island, just minutes away from Alston. The location is convenient, as it’s right off the Long Island Expressway at exit 69. The rustic brewery tasting room and brewhouse are reminiscent of Long Island’s farming past. This unique rural spot is a great place to visit with family and friends and on the east end next to the Waterdrinker Family Farm.  You can taste a few of the local beers after visiting the sunflower fields, a scenic photo-op location for all ages.

The owners are 5th generation farmers in the agriculture world, and their primary goal was to create an authentic farm brewery experience. Some tasting favorites are the Sunny Honey, brewed with sunflower seeds and local honey, which they have an abundance of. It is delicious with its mild but sweet flavor. The other top favorite is the crisp Farmhouse Ale, with hints of clove, cinnamon, and black pepper. There is also wine or cider for the non-beer lovers in the group.  A food truck is available to grab a bite to eat, and there is plenty of seating indoors and out. The live music is a great touch to a fun, relaxing evening with friends and family. The brewery sits on over 80 sprawling acres, which will soon include a relocated hop field. The Long Island Brewery is a new and trendy place where family and friends can come together and enjoy the different aspects of the farm.  Long Island Farm Brewery is most certainly a one-of-a-kind brewery atmosphere. Be sure to grab a six-pack on your way out or take a stroll through the blossoming sunflower fields.
